Stephen Warren Henderson

December 25, 1955 - July 25, 2020

Memorial Gifts & Donations

Stephen Warren Henderson, 64, Native of Norfolk.  He went to be with the lord on Saturday, July 25, 2020.

Steve was preceded in death by his mother Jeanette Brown Berry; his father Warren Henderson; and his sister Charity Mauskapf.

Steve is survived by his wife Elsie Henderson, Elsie’s 3 children and 6 grandchildren, his sister Michelle Wainright (Ricky) and their 2 children.  He also leaves behind countless friends that over the years became family.  Left to carry on his legacy is his daughter Holly Roberts and grandson/ bestfriend Eddie Roberts IV.

Steve grew up in the Northside area of Norfolk.  He was a carpenter by trade and worked with Fidura & Associates since 2011.  He developed many outstanding relationships due to his hard work and passion for the job.  Steve’s biggest accomplishment in life was single handedly raising his daughter Holly.  In his free time he really enjoyed music, playing the drums and spending time with his grandson Eddie.  Steve also enjoyed weekends at Indian Cove Campground with his wife Elsie.

Steve was mostly known for his larger than life, free spirited personality and has never known a stranger.  He was known as “Hendo” or “Raul” growing up, but later took on the role as “PawPaw” or “Popdogg” which he wore with so much pride.

The family will be receiving friends for a Graveside Service at Rosewood Memorial Park; 631 N Witchduck Rd, Vabch, VA 23462 at 10 am on Wednesday August 5, 2020.  In accordance to Steve’s love for the American Flag, we ask that everyone wear their red, white and blue attire.
