Tom was a friend to me for over 30 years. He was a member of our 7 member poker group which played together for 15 years. Tom was also a member of the Portsmouth Host Lions Club where I met him. Tom was very good natured and was a good friend to my wife Yvonne and I, when I was going through my divorce. Although he moved away from Portsmouth, he was always in my heart and will be missed!
Tom was a dear friend, a perfect gentleman, and diplomat, keeping relations smooth within a diverse group of tennis players and the city employees who run the park. I met so many friendly, caring people there and really missed the group when I could no longer play, and we moved to Pungo. Tom was supportive, kind, and a peace maker. I will never forget him, and extend my deepest sympathy to his grieving family. Hugs, Patsy
I will miss my tennis friend, Tom. His careful attention to the needs of our group and the park staff were very apparent. He faithfully arrived before start time to set things up and often sent out emails to the group when weather conditions were questionable. Tom’s coordination of our group contributed to years of great tennis fun. Yes, I will miss my tennis friend, Tom.
